God, you hear our prayers
At least twice a year
(Sometimes more, if exams are going badly)

Give us strength to stick with our studies
Patience to live with others
A smile to give to those we do not know

Comfort those who have come here from far away
Even as we welcome them
Each day

On this campus
Let peace come
Let there be peace and justice
Amen

(In preparation for the 2007 Mission at Wits)
